Lafayette Group is seeking an experienced public relations professional to support federal clients and cybersecurity initiatives, providing advanced consulting to address the needs of government and public stakeholders. The role focuses on crafting and executing PR plans that clearly communicate messages across complex audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Public Relations (PR), Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a public relations specialist.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust.
• Experience working with management consulting clients or similar experience.
• Prior experience with critical infrastructure and / or cybersecurity missions.

Responsibilities

• Develop thoughtful public relations plans that reflect the needs of a client's external affairs organization in a manner that enhances communications and outreach to state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) entities responsible for critical infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Plan the strategic direction and development of comprehensive PR campaigns.
