Job summary

Lafayette Group is seeking qualified and team-oriented individuals to work with federal government organizations in support of national cybersecurity programs. The Cybersecurity Partner Coordination Consultant helps ensure effective collaboration between industry and government partners on cyber operational planning and defense.

Daily tasks include stakeholder engagements, delivering high-quality deliverables, and developing engagement plans to support robust national cyber defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years experience in management consulting, communications, homeland security, or similar fields.
• Experience with stakeholder groups including industry, state/local or international partners.
• Excellent oral and written communication; diplomacy and listening skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking with flexible problem-solving approach.
• Ability to think strategically and learn quickly.
• Ability to build relationships with staff at all levels including senior leadership.
• Experience managing multiple project milestones following PM best practices.
• Experience developing briefing materials and analyzing trends in large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team to help clients solve nationally significant cybersecurity challenges.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships; design solutions meeting client needs.
• Implement engagement strategies to cultivate partnerships and coordinate meetings.
• Identify and implement new project processes for greater efficiency.
• Support data collection and analysis regarding engagement tools and strategies.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify key themes and trends.
• Develop and deliver high-quality products meeting client requirements on schedule.
• Assist with client engagement including leading meetings and planning sessions.
• Develop high-quality written work products such as strategic plans and reports.
