Chinook Systems Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Project Manager to coordinate and deliver engineering, code compliance, and commissioning services across the facility lifecycle for government-focused clients.

The role requires strong engineering background, leadership, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. It operates on a HYBRID schedule with three days on client sites and the rest at the Arlington HQ or remote, based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible engineering and project delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities and resolving technical issues.
• Experience supporting federal government projects and facilities.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, PowerPoint).
• A valid State Issued Drivers License and the ability to travel to various work sites.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent engineering, code compliance, and commissioning-related projects for federal facilities.
• Interpret RFPs, scopes of work, design/construction documents, codes, schedules, and contract deliverables.
• Provide senior-level engineering and technical oversight throughout planning, design, construction, testing, turnover, warranty, and operations.
• Coordinate technical reviews, including design reviews, submittals, RFIs, field observations, inspections, and test documentation.
• Evaluate designs and installations for adequacy, reliability, and conformance with standards.
• Coordinate commissioning planning, reviews, tests, and turnover documentation.
