Job summary

Chinook Systems, Inc. seeks a Commissioning Project Manager to coordinate and deliver commissioning services across planning, design, construction, warranty and operations for multiple buildings. The role requires 8+ years in commissioning, a CxA/CCP/CBCP or equivalent certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

This on-site position is in Arlington, VA. You will lead teams, review documents, prepare plans and reports, and ensure projects meet schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years direct experience in commissioning of facilities systems.
• HS diploma with 13 years related experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience managing or supervising people.
• 2+ years of experience managing commissioning/engineering projects.
• CxA/CCP/CBCP or equivalent commissioning certification.
• Knowledge of LEED/ASHRAE/ACO standard practices.
• Proficient with MS Office and scheduling software.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, energy management and facilities management services on multiple projects.
• Understand, analyze and interpret RFPs, design and construction documents, standards, codes, scopes and deliverables.
• Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, checklists, functional performance tests and reports.
• Conduct design reviews, submittal reviews, and O&M manual reviews.
• Conduct site observations and witness functional performance testing.
• Coordinate issue resolution affecting equipment startup and testing activities.
• Ensure conformance with project requirements, plans and contracts.
• Attend project meetings and review technical reports for completeness.
