Job summary

Onterris is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Leader to head programs focused on hazardous waste management, EPCRA reporting, and regulatory compliance. You will guide projects, mentor staff, and ensure client satisfaction across multiple engagements.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering with 10+ years in environmental consulting, including 3+ years in people management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
10+ years environmental consulting with 3+ years leadership.
Strong knowledge of EPCRA, RCRA, and hazardous materials/waste regulations.
Experience with compliance assessments and multi-project management.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit EPCRA reporting requirements (Tier II, TRI, etc.).
Provide technical leadership for hazardous waste and materials management.
Conduct waste stream determinations and proper waste disposal guidance.
Track regulatory changes and assess impacts on client operations.
Lead and develop a team of environmental professionals.
Manage multiple projects with scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Serve as primary contact for strategic client relationships and opportunities.
Interpret regulations and communicate requirements to facilities and leadership.
Prepare technical reports, permits, and executive briefings.
Lead meetings with clients and regulatory personnel.
Develop LOE estimates, labor projections, and pricing assumptions.
