Onterris is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to serve as a Project Manager for environmental projects including water quality, stormwater, and groundwater remediation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred civil, environmental or chemical)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• 8+ years of environmental engineering experience with industrial, municipal, state, and federal clientele
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in environmental technical areas
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
• Travel up to 5% of time

Responsibilities

• Works effectively both independently and in a team setting
• Conducts field work at client sites to collect groundwater and soil data
• Leads data collection efforts and research of projects as requested by project managers
• Prepares environmental compliance documents, permits, plans, and procedures
• Interacts with customers and clients
• Maintains confidentiality at all times
• Participates in continuous improvement programs and supports team efforts
• Keeps up-to-date on industry trends through training and professional publications
• Supports business development activities including proposal preparation and client expansion
