Job summary

Onterris is seeking an Environmental Field Supervisor to support environmental services during emergencies and non-ER projects. You will coordinate with project managers and project technical directors, lead field personnel, ensure high-quality data, and deliver timely environmental documentation.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in environmental science or related field, field experience, strong computer skills, and credentials such as HAZWOPER, DISA, and TWIC as noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology, geology, or other related science.
• Past environmental field work experience preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in a Windows-based platform.

Responsibilities

• Performs as a field lead on environmental response and projects with oversight from project managers and project technical directors.
• Assumes key environmental field roles during responses and projects, coordinating closely with project managers and project technical directors.
• Leads field personnel on environmental projects, ensuring the team is trained and data and documentation are of high quality.
• Assists with the preparation of written work plans and other environmental unit/project deliverables; ensures they are followed in the field.
• Coordinates with project managers, project technical directors, data managers, and quality managers to ensure data deliverables are timely and of high quality.
• Assists in the implementation of Onterris’ environmental training program.
• Supports internal preparedness, including delivery of environmental training and equipment maintenance.
• Maintains response readiness and deploys to emergency response and other projects as needed by Onterris ER Leadership.
• Supports all levels of Emergency Response Division to ensure staffing, training and readiness.
• Maintains compliance with environmental, health and safety policies and client, state, federal, and local rules.
