Onterris is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to lead environmental response efforts and non-ER projects. You will coordinate with clients and regulators, develop work plans, and ensure high‑quality data and reporting in field and command post settings.

The role requires 8+ years of field experience, REM/CEP/CHMM or equivalent certifications, and strong project management and leadership capabilities. Expect travel and on‑call deployments in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, biology, geology, or related science; 8+ years field experience.
• Advanced computer skills on Windows platforms; strong data management and reporting.
• Project management experience, preferably in emergency response.
• Recognized environmental certification (REM, CEP, CHMM).

Responsabilités

• Performs as environmental consultant on environmental response projects with oversight; may act as Project Manager or Project Technical Director.
• Assumes key environmental roles during responses and projects; coordinates with client and agency personnel.
• Prepares work plans and deliverables; ensures field adherence.
• Maintains readiness and deploys for emergencies; trains and mentors field staff.
• Travel frequently for deployments and on-call support.
