Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee large-scale design-build projects for a federal contractor, spanning planning to closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, and compliance while coordinating with federal stakeholders across Texas and Arizona.

The role requires 5-8+ years of PM experience, self-perform oversight, and proficiency in MS Project, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid/HeavyJob. Design-build familiarity and federal project exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years as a construction Project Manager.
• Experience with a General Contractor or a subcontractor in electrical, civil, steel, mechanical or structural trades.
• Must have overseen self-perform work.
• Experience managing projects valued over $20M.
• Federal construction project experience (CBP, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, DHS, AF, DOT, municipal).
• Proficient in MS Project and project management software (Bluebeam, HeavyBid/HeavyJob).
• Experience with project cost controls and financials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using MS Project
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and federal stakeholders
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review and markups
• Ensure compliance with federal requirements, safety standards, and quality controls
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts with HeavyBid/HeavyJob
• Drive projects from preconstruction through closeout
