Job summary

Axle Informatics in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to manage and negotiate complex government contracts with a focus on FAR/DFARS compliance.

You will draft NDAs, teaming agreements, primes/subcontracts, and vendor agreements; maintain contract records; explore automation and AI-enabled workflows; support internal audits and contract-related initiatives; and work in our North Bethesda office five days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience managing federal government contracts.
• Demonstrated experience with or aptitude for AI and/or Technology focused solutions.
• FAR and DFARS experience.
• Hands‑on experience with various contract types (T&M, FFP, Cost-Reimbursable, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey contract terms and implications to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; experience with contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
• Organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work in our North Bethesda, MD office 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of contractual documents, including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Prime/Subcontracts, and Vendor Agreements.
• Create and maintain accurate contract records in contract management database, ensuring data integrity in accordance with policy and federal contracting requirements.
• Ensure all contract actions are executed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Leverage existing and/or identify new technologies to drive departmental efficiencies and cross‑functional workflows.
• Stay informed on emerging AI trends and other technologies related to contracts to improve performance.
• Prepare documentation and assist and/or lead prime contract/task order kickoff meetings with internal program personnel.
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance, performance, and deliverables.
• Assist with managing contract management tools and identify areas of improvement for automation.
• Support ongoing internal audits, reporting, and other contract‑related initiatives as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
