Job summary

Yukon Management, LLC. seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction for projects in New York and New Jersey, pending contract award. The role focuses on directing day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with federal contract requirements.

You will coordinate subcontractors, inspect progress, maintain field records, and liaise with clients and the project team. A strong background in government construction and OSHA 30 certification are required;

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction experience, incl. 3+ years as a Civil Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of federal government construction contracts (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, GSA).
• Ability to interpret and enforce drawings and contract requirements.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or federal training preferred.
• Active clearance or HSPD-12 badging preferred.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel per contract documents.
• Conduct daily site inspections and progress meetings to verify quality and safety.
• Maintain field documentation including daily reports and coordination records.
• Foster client and stakeholder relationships through clear communication.
• Collaborate with project management and federal clients to resolve conflicts.
• Participate in the safety program and ensure site-wide compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
