Job summary

Yukon Management, LLC. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team for projects in New York and New Jersey, pending a contract award.

The Superintendent will manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and contractual compliance across multiple sites. The ideal candidate has extensive federal construction experience (USACE/Navfac/GSA), OSHA 30 certification, and a proactive leadership and communication style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years as a Civil Superintendent or related roles.
• Strong working knowledge of federal government construction contracts (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, or similar).
• Proven ability to interpret and enforce specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety or federal training credentials preferred.
• Active clearance or HSPD-12 badging, preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel, ensuring adherence to contract documents and project specifications.
• Conduct daily site inspections and meetings to ensure progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate field documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and subcontractor coordination records.
• Foster positive client, stakeholder, and team relationships through clear communication and professional representation.
• Collaborate with the project management team and federal clients to resolve conflicts, review scopes, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Participate in the company’s safety program and ensure compliance with all field staff and subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
