Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
• Minimum ten years of related construction experience and managing construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects for USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, or similar agencies.
• Ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet safety, funding, and scheduling objectives.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and contract clauses.
• Develop and manage CPM schedules (cost-loaded where required).
• Oversee Quality Control Plan per contract requirements (e.g., USACE/NAVFAC Three-Phase).
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and compliance with federal payroll standards (Davis-Bacon).
• Prepare pay apps, RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, and required project reports.
• Coordinate with government representatives and lead preconstruction, progress, and closeout meetings.
