Job summary

MacDonald-Bedford LLC seeks experienced Construction Managers for field-based roles supporting federal and large infrastructure projects. You will lead CMS activities, ensure QA/QC, and coordinate with government stakeholders on-site to meet schedule and contract requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a related B.S. degree, 15+ years of on-site CM experience, and proficiency with RMS, Procore, MS Project, or Primavera. US citizenship and OSHA 30 are preferred or required before start.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in construction-related field or equivalent professional experience
• 15+ years of on-site construction management experience with QA/contract administration
• Familiarity with RMS, three-phase inspection, and QA/QC procedures
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain before project start date
• PMP, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus
• US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide CMS for pre-construction award functions, QA and contract administration
• Prepare and finalize pre-award, QA, and contract administration documents for Government Contracts
• Attend contractor progress and technical meetings; participate in three-phase inspection process
• Perform submittal reviews, RFI responses, schedule evaluations, and change order cost estimating
• Document project progress using RMS and ensure on-site conformance
• Support commissioning, start-up, testing, and warranty inspections
• Interpret construction requirements and verify compliance
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders
• Assist cost estimating, schedule assessments, and contract compliance oversight
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain progress documentation
• Ensure adherence to codes, safety standards, and specifications
