Job summary

MacDonald‑Bedford LLC seeks experienced Construction Managers to support large-scale infrastructure, renovation, and federal projects. These field-based roles involve government and institutional work, including MILCON and SRM projects.

Responsibilities include CMS, QA, contract administration, inspections, submittals, RFI responses, and cost/schedule oversight on site. Candidates should have US citizenship and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in CM, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• 15+ years on-site construction management experience or 5 years with USACE-related federal/institutional work.
• Knowledge of RMS, three-phase inspection, QA/QC and government protocols.
• Proficiency with scheduling/management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain prior to start; PMP/CCM a plus.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CMS for pre-construction and contract administration.
• Prepare and finalize pre-award QA and contract duties.
• Attend three-phase inspections and progress meetings with contractors.
• Review submittals, RFI responses, schedules, and change orders.
• Document progress using RMS and ensure on-site conformance.
• Support commissioning, start-up, testing and warranties.
• Coordinate with teams, subcontractors and government stakeholders.
