CDM Smith in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead Federal construction efforts, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with FAR and agency standards.

You will coordinate contractors, manage cross-functional teams, and liaise with government stakeholders while mentoring junior staff and upholding rigorous safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as duties require.
• Experience with large Federal construction projects and knowledge of FAR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage all phases of Federal construction projects to ensure execution within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.
• Act as the liaison between Federal client, stakeholders, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
• Review construction documents for FAR compliance, design standards, and applicable codes.
• Lead pre-construction conferences, design and progress meetings, and on-site inspections; manage punch lists.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met across sites (OSHA/USACE).
• Track performance metrics, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in construction management.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation for submission to federal agencies.
• Promote a culture of safety across all sites and coordinate with agencies.
