Accura Engineering seeks a Senior Construction Representative for Fort Buchanan, based in Guaynabo, PR. The role involves supervising construction phases, ensuring compliance with plans and specs, and supporting change orders. A strong background in government contracts and site reporting is required.

The candidate will review submittals, monitor safety, and coordinate with the project team to minimize delays. A construction-related degree is preferred and DoD/USACE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience on construction contract administration and inspection projects.
• Experience with DoD/USACE projects preferred.
• Familiarity with three-phase inspection process and relevant codes is needed.

Responsabilités

• Delivers surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans and specifications to government personnel.
• Supports investigation and preparation of change orders.
• Develops detailed inspection requirements and control methods.
• Observes construction phases for compliance with schedules and shop drawings; identifies problems and assesses need for contract modifications.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress, safety, and manpower notes.
• Assists in all phases of the contract modification process.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval action, including schedules and safety programs.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
