Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Representative to oversee construction surveillance and reporting at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico.

You will review contractor plans, observe work progress, and ensure compliance with specs, safety, and quality requirements. The role requires a minimum 7 years of federal contract administration/inspection experience, construction-related degree preferred, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of applicable experience in construction contract administration and inspection on large federal projects (DoD/USACE preferred).
• Construction-related degree preferred; US citizenship and ability to pass background checks required.
• Familiarity with RMS 3.0 and OSHA/EM 385-1-1 standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surveillance reports on construction phases to government personnel, ensuring workmanship, materials, installation, and methods meet plans and specs.
• Support investigation and preparation of change orders and contract modifications.
• Develop detailed inspection requirements and control methods for compliance with schedules and shop drawings.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and advise the project team on potential delays or required actions.
• Review contractor plans and submittals for approval, including safety and quality control programs.
