TeleSolv Consulting, LLC is seeking a Classification Specialist in Washington, DC to provide technical and administrative HR services related to position classification. The role involves reviewing descriptions, applying Government classification standards, and ensuring consistency in compensation across programs.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with classification activities, strong writing abilities, and the ability to work independently in a compliance-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience performing classification support services.
• Experience reviewing position descriptions and comparing against classification standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply Government policy, regulations, and directives in a legally sound manner.

Responsibilities

• Tentatively classify position descriptions and evaluation statements per Government standards.
• Compare descriptions against standards to ensure compensation consistency.
• Prepare evaluation statements for precedent-setting decisions.
• Assist in conducting job evaluations per Government policies and procedures.
• Upload documents into the Government position classification system.
• Prepare advisory evaluation statements for future use.
• Submit drafts and descriptions for SME review and approval.
• Edit position descriptions and prepare workforce profiles.
