Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience performing classification support services.
• Experience reviewing position descriptions, comparing against standards, and preparing evaluation statements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply Government policy, regulations, and directives in a legally sound manner.

Responsibilities

• Tentatively classify position descriptions and evaluation statements per government standards.
• Compare descriptions against standards to ensure compensation consistency.
• Prepare evaluation statements for precedent-setting decisions.
• Assist in conducting job evaluations per policies, directives, and procedures.
• Upload documents into the Government position classification system.
• Prepare advisory evaluation statements for future use.
• Submit modified drafts to subject matter experts and managers for comment.
• Edit position descriptions and prepare workforce profiles.
