Job summary

North Wind Group, operating a federal practice through LBYD Federal, seeks a licensed Lead Architect in Las Vegas. You will lead large-scale architecture programs, manage scope and budgets, and mentor teams to achieve technical excellence and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, reviewing designs and reports, and guiding design development from concept to construction documents. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college curriculum in architecture or related field.
• 15+ years design experience in architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing correspondence, written reports and in briefing management personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team members to execute project scope, schedules, and budgets per requirements.
• Review codes, policies, and regulations to support technical recommendations.
• Apply architectural and engineering principles to multi-discipline project design and construction.
• Oversee site investigations and review as-built drawings for condition assessment.
• Lead client and stakeholder coordination, meetings, and documentation.
• Review design reports, submittals, and cost proposals for compliance.
• Provide technical support for design and construction submittals and field observations.
• Guide the design development from concepts to final construction documents.
