U.S. Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Management Contract Support Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23.

This role combines senior federal acquisition expertise with direct management of a team of acquisition professionals across the full procurement lifecycle. The candidate will provide leadership, technical oversight, and hands‑on support, ensuring contract actions are compliant with FAR/VAAR and VA policies while coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of recent relevant experience providing comprehensive and complex federal acquisition support.
• Minimum of three years of recent experience managing government procurement teams.
• Experience managing personnel activities including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, work assignment, employee reviews, and discipline.
• Experience supporting pre‑award and post‑award federal acquisitions.
• Experience supporting acquisitions above the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
• Extensive knowledge of the FAR, VAAR, and applicable federal acquisition regulations.
• Ability to supervise and advise on acquisition strategy, documentation, and administration.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of federal acquisition professionals across VA contracting activities and multiple dollar values.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and oversight to staff at all levels.
• Oversee workload balancing, staffing plans, and onboarding for acquisition personnel.
• Review resumes, participate in interviews, and support hiring decisions.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support pre‑award and post‑award activities including requirements development, planning, solicitations, evaluation, and awards.
• Prepare procurement packages for Contracting Officer review and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance, progress, and quality to keep timelines on track.
• Communicate staffing, workload, risks, and corrective actions to VA leadership.
