Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant - Forward Deployed Engineer (Databricks) to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions in enterprise environments. You will collaborate with clients to translate business needs into technical outcomes and lead production deployments on cloud platforms.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in software/data engineering, Databricks experience, and a track record in leading client engagements and GenAI/LLM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/DS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in software/data engineering, analytics, or delivery roles with cloud exposure.
• 1+ year with Databricks and related AI/ML tooling.
• 1+ year leading project workstreams or client engagements translating requirements to technical solutions.
• 1+ year building AI/GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or prod environments.
• Experience shipping production code with AI-assisted development and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define needs, constraints, and success criteria.
• Design, build, and integrate AI-enabled apps, APIs, ML models, data pipelines, microservices.
• Use AI-assisted development to speed delivery while ensuring quality and security.
• Lead implementation for production including architecture, security, and access reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across Databricks and cloud envs.
• Create reusable assets and help client teams sustain delivered solutions.
