Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic seeks a Senior Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care across Chicagoland clinics. You will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and leadership to uphold MEC standards for service, safety, and excellence.

The role emphasizes independent practice, clinical leadership, and sustaining high-quality patient experiences in a fast-paced urgent/primary care setting across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 5 years of NP practice.
• Active Illinois APRN license with FNP board certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Active DEA registration and Illinois controlled substance license, or ability to obtain them before starting.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership and high-quality patient care in the clinic.
• Mentor and support newer NP providers and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, and physicians to meet MEC standards.
• Lead process improvements and drive patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver efficient care while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR.
