Midwest Express Clinic seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner on the Chicago West Side to lead clinical care across urgent and primary settings. You will partner with medical staff to deliver evidence-based care, improve patient experiences, and support clinic operations.

This role requires an NP with IL/IN license, lifespan care, strong procedural skills, and a patient-centered hospitality mindset. MEC offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities to impact accessible care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based medicine.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results.
• Perform procedures including: laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nail procedures, injections, DOT physicals, occupational medicine services.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR.
