Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care across Southeast Suburbs, Illinois locations including Bolingbrook and Tinley Park. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care with patient-centric service and teamwork.

The candidate will balance clinical duties with collaboration across Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, leadership, and physicians to uphold MEC standards for service, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and ensure timely documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, leadership, and physicians to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Support clinic goals related to patient flow, efficiency, and quality metrics.
