Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to lead investigations into manufacturing and product-quality issues in our facility. You will apply structured problem-solving methods to identify root causes and verify corrective actions.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and QA teams to develop robust failure analyses, write clear reports, and help prevent recurrence across processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
• 6+ years in Failure Analysis, Quality Engineering, or Reliability Engineering.
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
• Hands-on experience investigating mechanical, electrical, and fluid-system failures.
• Reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• ISO 9001 familiarity.
• Minitab for statistical analysis preferred.
• Data center infrastructure or server hardware experience preferred.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead failure investigations and identify root causes through troubleshooting, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Develop failure analysis reports with clear findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Own quality issues from detection through resolution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement and verify corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues and support production teams in resolving quality problems.
• Analyze returned products and customer failures to determine root causes and support quality investigations.
