Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks an experienced Reliability/Failure Analysis professional to lead root cause investigations across reliability testing, manufacturing and field returns.

You will plan analyses, perform physical and electrical FA, and generate clear reports for stakeholders. The role requires hands-on use of SEM, EDS, optical profilers, X‑ray inspection, and photon emission tools, with collaboration across design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM.
• 5 years of industry experience in semiconductor reliability or failure analysis.
• Hands-on FA techniques including SEM, EDS, optical profiler, and failure reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support root cause failure investigations from reliability testing, manufacturing, and field returns.
• Develop and execute detailed failure analysis plans and reports.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, and quality teams to resolve failures.
• Perform qualification and reliability stress testing (HTOL, TC, HAST).
• Assist with CAPA and 8D reports, and customer communications.
