Powerex in Youngwood, PA, seeks a Senior Failure Analysis Specialist to lead investigations of product returns and drive quality improvements. You will manage escalated RMA cases and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring issues and implement corrective actions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to influence continuous improvement across the quality process.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2 years of experience in failure analysis, quality assurance, or RMA.
• Basic training in quality management system standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, Total Quality Management.
• Root cause analysis training and soldering standards knowledge (J-STD-001).

Responsabilités

• Lead root cause investigations for high-impact or recurring RMA cases and internal failures.
• Work with engineering and quality teams to develop and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate documentation and reporting of all analysis activities and outcomes.
• Contribute to supplier quality improvement from field returns.
