Job summary

POWEREX, INC. seeks a Senior Failure Analysis Specialist to lead root-cause investigations of high‑impact RMAs and internal failures. You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement long-term corrective actions and drive product improvements.

You will coordinate documentation, report outcomes, and support supplier quality initiatives while maintaining strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in applicable field and two years of failure analysis/quality experience.
• Basic training in quality management system standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, TQM).
• Root cause analysis training and soldering standard (J-STD-001).

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations for RMA and internal failures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on long-term corrective actions.
• Present findings and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with production and suppliers on product improvements.
• Document and report analysis activities and outcomes.
