GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY, is seeking a New College Graduate for the Failure Analysis Laboratory at its 300mm fabrication facility. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in semiconductor failure analysis, including sample prep, imaging, and analysis techniques.

The role requires a Master's degree in a related field, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and the ability to relocate to Malta, NY. Up to 10% travel is anticipated, with extensive collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s in Physics, Materials Science, Optical, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• Language: English (Written & Verbal).
• Able to relocate to Malta, NY.
• Travel: Up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Support analyses meeting turnaround-time requirements while upholding quality.
• Collaborate with lab shifts, engineers and managers to define methods and interpret results.
• Coordinate with Process Integration, Process Module, Product Engineering, and Customer Engineering to meet tech requirements and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, cycle time, equipment utilization, and cost.
• Participate in continuous-improvement activities and lab process enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams.
