Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking a Sr. Failure Analysis Technician for the day shift to perform SEM/TEM/FIB-based failure analysis, sample prep, and data reporting in a 300mm fab environment.

You will apply your understanding of semiconductor technology and manufacturing, operate analytical equipment, document results, and participate in continuous improvement while adhering to safety procedures. A 2-year technical degree and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year technical/associate degree or equivalent
• Experience in analytical lab and failure analysis preferred
• Strong English communication and following procedures required
• Must be able to work 12-hour day shift and document results clearly

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine failure analysis using defined procedures
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment, minimize downtime
• Prepare samples for TEM/SEM analysis and document results
• Assist with training and support continuous improvement initiatives
