Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in the United States is seeking a Senior Specialist FAE with deep expertise in power electronics, automotive systems, and embedded software. You will drive customer success by supporting design-in efforts and championing joint development projects with OEMs and Tier-1s.

The role involves analyzing circuits, preparing technical trainings, and delivering application notes and reference solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Embedded Systems is essential.
5+ years of system application engineering experience in Power Electronics, preferably in Automotive domain.
Strong understanding of MOSFETs, IGBTs, Gate Drivers and topologies.
Hands-on with applications like Charger, Motor Controller, Battery Management Systems.

Responsibilities

Actively work toward Design Win targets for Automotive segment products.
Provide technical support to OEMs/Tier-1s and distributors for rapid product adoption.
Collaborate on joint development projects with customers as needed.
Coordinate with Sales/Marketing and regional engineers to hit targets.
Analyze circuits/boards to resolve issues and benchmark against competitors.
Develop proofs of concepts and reference solutions for customers.
Capture regional requirements and report feedback to Headquarters.
Prepare training materials and deliver technical trainings/workshops.
Create presentations, app notes, SAE papers, and patent ideas.
Troubleshoot FAR issues at the application level and propose solutions.
