Job summary

BAE Systems in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Final Factory Test Engineer with TestStand expertise to join our engineering team. You will work with bench testers and various test equipment to test, debug, and validate electronic circuit cards and modules, create test procedures, and support manufacturing transitions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years of experience, with a preference for NI-based tools, SPC, and lean manufacturing know-how.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
5+ years of overall engineering/manufacturing experience including NI-based TestStand measurement/test equipment such as power meters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Strong technical aptitude and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally within operations and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Support testing, measuring, and troubleshooting of complex electronic circuit card assemblies, systems, modules, and sub-assemblies using specialized equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain test equipment to ensure ongoing functionality.
Generate and review test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, and documentation.
