Job summary

Jobgether, based in the United States, seeks a Senior Factoring Underwriter & Credit Specialist to lead underwriting, risk assessment, and portfolio management for commercial A/R factoring. You will evaluate debtor creditworthiness, establish credit limits, verify invoices, and structure financing for high-growth e-commerce, CPG, and B2B wholesalers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct factoring underwriting experience in commercial A/R facilities.
• Experience interpreting UCC lien search reports and coordinating perfection under UCC Article 9.
• Experience evaluating account debtor risk and establishing debtor-level credit limits.
• Knowledge of invoice verification, pre-advance audits, and remittance controls.
• Strong cash flow analysis and A/R aging skills.
• Attention to collateral eligibility and legal/documentation accuracy.
• Interest in fintech and AI-driven underwriting and workflow improvements.
• Proficiency in Excel/SQL and core factoring software.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial A/R factoring facilities and set debtor limits.
• Review UCC liens, PMSIs, and coordinate perfection.
• Verify invoices and perform pre-advance audits.
• Analyze dilution, reserves, and facility structures.
• Manage UCC-1 filings and security documents.
• Monitor collections and debtor payment behavior.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk to build automated workflows.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate credit memo prep and verification.
