Job summary

The Building People, LLC has a Senior Facility Site Accessor opening to support a federal client at a secure campus in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes mechanical systems, asset management, and lifecycle planning with extensive travel and a Secret Clearance.

Ideal candidates will have >10 years of relevant experience, strong QA, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining independence in field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years in building construction, MEP design/coordination.
• Experience with federal facility condition assessments and asset management.
• Familiarity with CERL SMS, BUILDER for data collection and planning.
• Broad knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventories and condition assessments of building systems (MEP).
• Identify and document deficient conditions with narratives for repairs and lifecycle planning.
• Provide independent judgment and QA of field surveys and reports.
• Lead regular communications with management on schedules, risks, and findings.
• Prepare facility assessment reports and energy assessment data extraction.
• Review BAS data and assist in energy optimization through data analysis.
