Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine maintenance, preventative tasks, minor construction, and repairs across the facility, following established procedures to uphold high standards.

The role requires good communication with other trade personnel, prioritizing urgent work, responding to emergencies, and complying with safety rules to deliver safe, compassionate service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years facility maintenance experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call incidents.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work areas.
• Assist with minor construction and repairs.
• Coordinate with engineering supervisor on status.
