ABM Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to supervise the facility's engineering department, ensuring installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment. You will implement safety plans, standards, and energy conservation programs while coordinating with management on budgets and capital planning.

The role involves leading a team, enforcing safety, and ensuring efficient building operations. Requires experience in facility supervision, licensing, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Experience commensurate with facility operations; 5+ years preferred.
• State/local stationary engineer or HVAC license required; refrigerant recovery license desired.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• MS Office and BAS experience required.
• LEED/BOMA credentials are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs at the facility; prioritize emergencies.
• Provide technical guidance in electric theory, mechanical and safety procedures.
• Develop and enforce site policies to improve plant operations.
• Budget planning and operating/ extraordinary expenses as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors on equipment replacements and downtime.
• Promote safety, housekeeping, energy conservation, and compliance with standards.
