GE Vernova’s Schenectady Technology Lab is seeking a Senior Facility Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical infrastructure across 15 kV to 120 V and DC control systems. The role focuses on generation, protection, and distribution equipment in a large industrial setting, and requires extensive experience with capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years in electrical engineering; at least 5 years in facility or industrial power systems.
• High School diploma with 15+ years experience in electrical engineering and hands-on experience accepted as alternative.
• Proven track record in electrical construction, inspection, and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility electrical system design, commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting across MV/LV systems.
• Champion electrical safety practices including LOTO, NFPA 70E, and arc flash mitigation strategies.
