Job summary

GE Vernova’s Schenectady Technology Lab seeks a Senior Facility Electrical Engineer to lead electrical infrastructure for its world-class test lab, spanning 15 kV to 120 V and DC control systems. Expect safety leadership, design, commissioning, and cross-functional collaboration with GE Vernova teams, EPCs, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical engineering with facility/industrial power experience and proficiency in ETAP/SKM/EasyPower; authoring specs and drawings is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering with 5+ years in facility/industrial power systems.
• Hands-on MV/LV experience: transformers, switchgears, MCCs, UPS/DC, generators, VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical infrastructure design, commissioning, and troubleshooting for MV/LV systems.
• Provide technical direction for facility projects with GE Vernova teams and vendors.
• Develop electrical specifications, load lists, diagrams, and system studies.
