Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Senior Facility Coder/Biller in Houston to review records, assign codes, and ensure compliant claim submission. You will resolve complex coding issues, support denial management, and mentor staff.

The role requires CPC credential, 5+ years facility coding experience, EMR/EHR familiarity, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS. A competitive benefits package supports ongoing development and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC-A or CPC) with knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS guidelines.
• 5+ years of facility coding and billing experience with denial management.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate facility diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Ensure timely, compliant claim submission and denial follow-up.
• Mentor and guide team members; act as a backup to Coding/Billing Manager.
