Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Facilities Technician III to support operations at our regional locations in Northeast Ohio, with on-site duties based in Mentor, OH.

The role involves preventive maintenance across building systems, coordination with contractors, and enforcing safety programs. The candidate should have a technical degree, 8+ years in facilities, and strong leadership and communication skills. Work hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent required, with licensing (e.g., forklift) as needed.
• 8+ years of facilities maintenance, project coordination, and office services experience.
• Broad technical knowledge of facilities operating systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety codes.
• Self-directed with leadership and mentoring skills to resolve advanced technical issues.
• Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills (Google Suite) with ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of building equipment, fixtures, utilities, and grounds.
• Maintain building security, fire protection systems, and coordinate with outside contractors for multi-trade work.
• Monitor facility expenses within budget and assist in Annual Operating Plan development.
• Lead EH&S programs and training for safe working conditions.
• Provide on-site facility support across Northeast Ohio locations, including 24/6 on-call support as needed.
