Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Facilities Technician III to support our Northeast Ohio locations in Mentor, OH. This on-site role operates 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, handling preventive maintenance and project work to keep our facilities safe and efficient.

Qualified candidates will have a technical degree and 8+ years in facilities maintenance, with strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge and the ability to coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, project coordination, and office services.
• Broad technical knowledge of facilities operating systems; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and local fire safety codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of building equipment, fixtures, utilities, and grounds.
• Maintain building security, fire protection systems, and coordinate with contractors for multiple trades.
• Monitor facility expenses within budget; review invoices; assist in Annual Operating Plan development.
• Assist with EH&S programs and training to ensure safe working conditions.
• Provide responsive facility support across Northeast Ohio locations and on-call needs.
