Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Facilities Technician III to support operations in Northeast Ohio. This full-time, on-site role based in Mentor involves maintenance, safety programs, and collaboration with contractors across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate brings a technical degree, 8+ years in facilities, and strong leadership with excellent communication and computer skills. On-call duties and overtime may be required; pay transparency applies.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent required, with licensing (e.g., forklift) as needed.
• 8+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Broad knowledge of facilities systems; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of building equipment, fixtures, utilities, and grounds without interrupting service or safety.
• Maintain building security and fire protection systems; coordinate with outside contractors.
• Monitor facility expenses, review invoices, and assist in annual operating planning.
• Help develop and implement EH&S programs and training for safe working conditions.
• Provide facility support across Northeast Ohio locations, including 24/7 on-call support.
