Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for on-site occupancy planning, space management, and move coordination. The role focuses on receiving and processing work orders, vendor coordination, and maintaining space planning standards to support rapid growth across locations.

The candidate will work within the Global Workplace Solutions organization, collaborating with BU customers and furniture vendors to ensure space efficiency and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience in a related discipline, or 3 years with a Masters, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Move Management and Furniture Project Management.
• Solid knowledge of Space Planning/Management principles and methods.
• Strong spatial skills and ability to translate business requirements into space requirements.
• Basic knowledge of building codes and related regulations and statutes.
• Knowledge of system furniture design and modular furniture, with adherence to safety guidelines.
• Some project management experience related to space planning and move migrations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with BU customers to provide excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with MAC planners on moving schedules and timing.
• Collaborate with MAC manager and furniture vendors to develop move plans with space assignments and occupancy plans.
• Schedule moves and new hire requests in alignment with space planning and policy.
• Help develop and integrate space management tools, processes, standards, and policies to improve efficiencies.
• Manage conference room standards with furniture vendors.
• Possibly manage small projects and act as backup to other MAC coordinators.
• Validate inventory management with furniture vendors and order replacement furniture when needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
