Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead Global Workplace Solutions initiatives. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, drive scope, schedule, and budget, and report progress to leadership.

This on-site role requires 5 days per week on site and a strong engineering background. Typically a bachelor’s in engineering with 5+ years’ experience or a master’s with 3+ years, plus SAP, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint proficiency, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• Experience in Facilities Construction Project Management or project/construction management.
• 3–5 years of team leadership or supervision of project managers.
• Strong written and oral communication for senior management and contractors.
• Knowledge of SAP for purchase requisitions and orders; advanced Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan facilities changes for plant, lab, and production equipment layouts.
• Lead design reviews and oversee EOR completion of drawings and specs.
• Prepare bid packages and contracts for construction and facilities.
• Review costs and manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals, and documentation with EHS and city.
• Manage multiple gas tool installations and facility infrastructure projects.
