Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, safety inspections, and coordination of maintenance tasks across living and work spaces. You will supervise staff, ensure timely work and prepare progress reports for the client site, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities maintenance, strong inspection skills, and the ability to travel up to 90% to OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience conducting routine inspections of living quarters.
• Experience responding to facility emergencies.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to forecast facility maintenance needs (HVAC, plumbing).
• Ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 90% of the time.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and inspect living/work spaces for safety and health.
• Inspect safety equipment including water purification, fire extinguishers, AEDs, and other devices.
• Coordinate access and movement of equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Oversee local grounds maintenance and technicians to ensure timely, quality work.
• Prepare reports, track progress, and prioritize daily/weekly tasks.
• Participate in client meetings or conference calls and develop innovative solutions to problems.
