GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. is seeking an experienced Facility Infrastructure and Process Automation Engineering leader to ensure facilities, equipment, process instruments and automated systems operate safely, efficiently and in regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in engineering leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Direct knowledge of the design, commissioning, qualification, operation and maintenance of biologics facility infrastructure, process equipment, benchtop instruments, SCADA, BAS, Fire Safety and Security, and IT systems.
• Proficient in use of electronic systems Microsoft Office, various specialized software including process documentation Veeva Vault, Material Management (SAP), Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo), Building Automation System (BAS).
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving, prioritization and organizational skills; proactive problem identification and risk mitigation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Reliability: Design, schedule, and execute PM and non-routine maintenance programs for facilities equipment and systems using CMMS; oversee 24/7 coverage.
• Facility Integrity: Maintain building, grounds, utilities, and I&E systems ensuring uptime and safety for large facilities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to codes and standards; perform safety inspections with EHS.
• Budget & CAPEX: Manage repair/maintenance budgets and oversee CAPEX projects for infrastructure upgrades.
• Vendor & Spend Management: Oversee utility supply and vendor service spend to meet targets.
• Process Improvement: Lead reliability initiatives to reduce reactive work and improve uptime.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Engineering, EHS, and Operations to integrate strategies.
• Associate Management: Develop a high-performing team through coaching and collaboration.
• Data & Compliance: Maintain asset data and ensure data integrity for CMMS and IT systems.
• Process Automation Engineering: Develop automation strategies; coordinate Change Control with IT and QA.
