Job summary

GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Sr. Facilities Technician responsible for ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of building infrastructure and GMP manufacturing equipment.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, manage CMMS work orders, interpret blueprints, collaborate with vendors, and maintain records to support compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on HVAC/electrical/plumbing experience or 3–5 years GMP manufacturing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Operate, monitor, and optimize BAS/BMS for reliable facility operations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Manage work orders using CMMS; coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
