Job summary

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in facilities management, strong budget discipline, project leadership, and excellent communication. Travel to different Boardwalk locations and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, building operations, commercial property management, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial building operations, maintenance practices, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing vendors, and overseeing complex facility operations.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management, cost analysis, and expense oversight.
• Proven project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment in operational decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with facilities management or work order systems.
• Ability to travel to Boardwalk office locations and respond to after-hours facility issues as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily facility operations, ensuring buildings, equipment, and workplace environments are maintained to established operational, safety, and service standards.
• Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Oversee facility services, including janitorial, landscaping, waste management, utilities, building access, and other workplace support functions.
• Monitor building conditions and proactively address operational concerns to minimize business disruptions.
• Establish and maintain facility operating procedures and performance measures.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, reliability, and service delivery.
